Timewind is the fifth album by Klaus Schulze. It was originally released in 1975, and in 2006 was the twenty-second Schulze album reissued by Revisited Records. It is Schulze's first solo album to use a sequencer. Evolving slowly but deliberately over the course of each album side, Timewind has been deemed an electronic version of an Indian raga. Klaus Schulze (4 August 1947 – 26 April 2022) was a German electronic music pioneer, composer and musician who also used the alias Richard Wahnfried. He was briefly a member of the electronic band Tangerine Dream as well as co-founding Ash Ra Tempel before a pioneering and prolific solo career of 60+ albums (totalling 110+ CDs) across six decades. In 1969, Klaus Schulze was the drummer of one of the early incarnations of Tangerine Dream for their debut album Electronic Meditation.
