L’ensemble Cercamon was formed in 2002 by Pierre-Alexandre Saint-Yves (Voice, Flutes, Citole, Hurdy Gurdy, Rauschpfeife, Chalumeau) and joined by Andrew Wells-Oberegger (Bouzouki, Oud, Laouto, Saz, Percussions, Gaïta, Voice) and Jean-Simon Blanchet (Percussions, Tambourin à cordes, Voice). Drawn from the influences of jazz percussion, medieval french troubadours, renaissance compositions, and a variety of instruments from all over the world, L’ensamble Cercamon create a truly unique sound.
