Biography
Colin Lane and Frank Woodley, better known as Lano & Woodley are a well loved Australian comedy duo. They formed this duo almost 20 years ago now in Melbourne and are well known for their slap-stick theatre and stand up comedy.
In 1994 they won the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Perrier Comedy Award. In 1997 and 1999 the ABC aired their television series, The Adventures of Lano and Woodley.
2004 to 2005 saw their Australian stand-up tour, The Island, and in October of 2005 they released their CD of songs, Lano and Woodley Sing Songs. This is a collection of songs they have performed over the years, recorded live.
In February of 2006 the duo announced they were splitting up. This has led them on their final tour around Australia, entitled Good Bye.
Their Good Bye tour DVD, recorded live at the Her Majesty's Theatre during their record breaking run at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, was released early November.
