Going under the name of Ragdoll Convention to begin with, Lead Redemption was formed in mid 2006 from the ashes of various other groups. Starting out as a five-piece and taking influences from such bands as Deftones, Lamb of God and infernal Method, Lead Redemption produced a sound that was heavier and more diverse than most of the talent to come out of Tamworth.
