Les Synthétiques is an electropop band formed in 2007 in Helsinki, Finland by Laura Aslo-Suominen (vocals), Miika Holopainen (vocals) and Marko Ukkola (machinery). Although being heavily influenced by 80’s electronic pop (with a dash of Angelo Badalamenti thrown in) they have managed to create their own unique sound. Their name was taken from Finnish Donald Duck comic book where in the 70’s you could marvel at the adventures of the rock band Synteettiset.
