There are many artists with the name "Linx", not to be confused with the many other artists called Lynx or the Canadian glam rock band called Lÿnx.

1) - Linx were a British soul/funk band consisting of David Grant, Bob Carter (keyboards), Andy Duncan (drums), Canute Edwards (guitar) and Peter Martin (bass) (aka Sketch). After their first hit in 1980, the band slimmed down to a duo of Grant and Martin. They had six entries on the UK Singles Chart from mid-1980 until mid-1982. Their biggest success was "Intuition", which reached number 7 in early 1981. Other hits included "You're Lying" and "So This is Romance".
Linx split in early 1983 and Grant went on to have a number of solo hits. More recently he has featured as a vocal coach on the BBC TV show, Fame Academy.

3) Linx is an alternative industrial rock band.
With their experience playing across various alt genres in different bands throughout the last decade, the Canadian members started LINX together in late 2021 to create a hybrid sound that blends 80’s industrial, metal, and melodic vocal stylings.
