Considered by some to be the best voice in Europe, she rose to stardom when her hauntingly beautiful Szerelem, Szerelem (Love, Love) was included in the score for the movie The English Patient. She is also well-known amongst the Hungarian folk music scene as the permanent guest/lead vocalist for the group Muzsikás.
