The band originated in 2003 by the two brothers Rafi and Rotem perach, The band went through several line-up changes until late 2007 when the final lineup was formed. The band's current line-up consists of guitarist Rafi Perach, Vocalist Tamar Ariel, Drummer Oded "Gutzy" Idan and bassist Lior Mayer. M.E.S.S is an acronym of the band's earlier name - "Mr. Error Sound System".
