“Crash and Burn” is a fiery pop-rock track off American singer-songwriter Maggie Lindemann’s debut EP, PARANOIA. Signaling a departure from the moody pop of her 2016 single “Pretty Girl”, Maggie explores a more rock-influenced sound, along with energetic vocals, upbeat electric guitar, and a good sprinkle of inspiration from iconic rock band Paramore. As Maggie explained in a track-by-track EP walkthrough with Sweety High, “Crash and Burn” deals with her feelings of betrayal and angst after the unexpected end of a relationship.

Margaret Elizabeth "Maggie" Lindemann (born July 21, 1998) is an American singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. After quickly gaining a massive following on social media, she became well known for her song "Knocking on Your Heart". Her 2016 debut single "Pretty Girl" peaked at number 4 in Sweden, number 9 in Norway, and at number 21 in the UK. Following the song, Lindemann transitioned her music into pop punk and alternative rock genres with the release of her debut EP, Paranoia (2021). Her debut album, Suckerpunch, was released on September 16, 2022.
