Marko Haavisto & Poutahaukat is a professional band from Finland. Since the band was formed in 1997, their musical genre has been guided by traditional Finnish schlager music and instrumental rock. However, their greatest and most important inspiration derives from American rock‘n’roll as well as from country & western. While their melodies are rooted in the past, their lyrics portray personal stories of the present.
