Matti Korkiala (born 4 July 1962 in Kälviä) is a Finnish percussion singer. He got a violin at the age of 10 and ended up studying at Kokkola Music College. He also took singing lessons. He trained as a bricklayer and worked in that profession for several years. After seeing the Seinäjoki Tango Market on television, Korkiala decided to participate and was in 1993, although she was not an experienced performer.
