Maurício Pereira (São Paulo, 8 de novembro de 1959) é um compositor, letrista, cantor e saxofonista brasileiro. Ao longo de sua carreira, gravou um total de oito discos, sendo dois com Os Mulheres Negras e seis solo, consagrando-se como um dos ícones da música independente brasileira. Em 1985 criou, juntamente com o músico André Abujamra, a banda Os Mulheres Negras com a qual lançou dois discos: Música e Ciência, em 1988, e Música Serve pra Isso, em 1990, ambos pela gravadora Warner e produzidos por Pena Schmidt.
