Apply Some Pressure was the second single released by Maxïmo Park. It reached number 20 in the UK charts in February 2005. The song was re-released in October 2005 and reached number 17 in the UK charts. The song has also been featured in several video games such as SSX On Tour, Burnout Revenge and SingStar Rocks!. The song has been re-worked by Mark Ronson for his album Version (Apply Some Pressure). Paul Smith recorded the vocals for him after Ronson had made the instrumental but could not find a singer on par with Smith.
