Bend je nastao u 9. mjesecu 2006. godine na inicjativu par fureža u Splitu. I zbog velike nadobudnosti i dobre volje prvi koncert biva održan tri mjeseca nakon osnutka bend u klubu Kocka (20.12.'06) na pank domjenku zajedno sa bendovima Ponte de carla i Mentalni otpad. I od tada je prošlo pet clanova kroz bend i na kraju ostalo nas troje. Naziv je dobio od jedne tube koja prži mozak punog naziva "METAPREN UNIVERZAL".
