Mexico86 were formed in Derby, England, in 2003, consisting of Leigh Dawber, Christopher Daly and Matthew Soffe. Matthew Reetz was quickly drafted in on drums, and the addition of Richard Birkin (of the Little Explorer) completed the line-up. They performed a handful of gigs between 2003-2004 in the midlands and recorded two eps 'Night on Day Mountain' and 'People We Hope Exist' before disbanding.
