Monique was born in Oakland, California on January 29th,1988. She was raised in Alameda, California and is the youngest of 5 children. As a result of growing up in a household of older siblings, she was exposed at an early age to some of the greatest and most influential artists of our time. Her influences came from Janis Joplin, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson,Prince and Mariah Carey.
