Debut EP from the promising Montgomery Clunk, squeezing out seven tracks of melancholy aquacrunk head nodders. 'Asspiration' sets himself out as a moody figure with an appreciation to Dubstep and Beat Dimensions style sounds, following into the seasick James Blake-esque rhythms of 'Murder!' and crafty Dorian Concept-style arrangements in 'Entourage'. 'Heat' features a fling with toxic R&B synths and gloop electro rhythms while 'Work Your Pitch' runs with warm and nostalgic 'tronica vibes somewhere close to BoC or Hudson Mohawke. Recommended!
