Murder Mile were born as a result of Cheese Cake Truck (Yoko's old band) not being able to perform at Sam Powell's Rock'n'Roll Circus tribute gig in March 2002. Not being one to miss a shindig,Yoko threw together 3 songs and rounded up a band under the name of (no shit) Murder Mile.(coz 3 of them lived on that infamous stretch in Hackney.Nuff said!)
