Náyades was formed in late 2008 in Madrid by Ivan Alejo (Bass) and Sergio Martínez (Lead Guitar). Subsequently joined the band David Gomez (Rhythm Guitar) and Roberto Cascales (Drums). Since its inception it has focused on European melodic power metal. After undergoing several lineup changes and even with the lack of a fixed vocalist, the band started the composition of his own songs, a fundamental hallmark of the band.
