In April 1978 she made her first single, 'O chero da Carolina', which was an immediate hit, followed by her first LP, 'Nazaré' and in 1979 the album 'Amazonia'. In 1980, she released her third album 'Natureza', including the song 'Amarelinha–La Marella' which became a hit.
