"Pink Friday Girls" is the fifteenth track on rapper Nicki Minaj's fifth studio album, Pink Friday 2. It samples Cyndi Lauper's 1983 hit single "Girls Just Want to Have Fun". Nicki had previously performed a cover of it alongside Katy Perry at VH1 Divas Salute the Troops in 2010. Cyndi shared the track on her Instagram story after the song's release. Nicki later posted on Twitter: "I’m told she’s never cleared a master recording. I am so grateful. I’ve always loved her as you guys know."
