Originally starting out life as a demo for the Barbieri/Bowness album Flame, Taste My Dream was resurrected with the addition of minimalist flashes of piano and guitar in order to become one of the stand out tracks of Wild Opera. The trip-hop sound that is often associated with the album can be found at their most noticeable here with the drum pattern and the looped vocal takes. Despite being a favorite of Tim's, it has only been performed live once at no-man's "farewell" show in 1994.
