It was 2003 when the idea for a band came up in the mind of gitarist Thomas Strizek, and he asked his friends to join him. They were enthousiast enough to begin the band, and called it Nordwand. It took a while for them to be discovered by the audience, but after they performed in the famous OBERBAYERN party house at Mallorca (Spain), their fame went upwards.
