Noun Yaré originates from the mountains of Bamoun in West Cameroun. At early age, he was initiated in the art of polyphonic songs by his grandfather. Apart from this, his music influences by other styles, like Bossanova, Makossa, Samba. For many years, he has performed with traditional dance groups. After moving to France in 2001, he collaberated with many artists, and issued his first album Yaré in 2005. This was followed in 2010 by the second album Juema.
