Ocra began in Fall 2010 as the new project of Myles Bartel (Euth, 2008-2010). After playing a number of shows at the Ramshackle Day Parade (Edmonton's monthly noise/experimental music showcase), and releasing a split cassette with fellow local noise artist Potier in August 2011, work for a full-length began (slated for late 2011). Myles is also one third of the experimental group Pigeon Breeders with Will Scott (The Mitts, Wicked Awesomes) and Tyler Harland (Wicked Awesomes).
