Walter Eichenberg (Großburschla, Thuringia, Germany, December 20, 1922 - March 13, 2018) was a German composer, trumpeter, conductor and arranger. In 1945, Eichenberg began his first engagement in a small swing formation in Chemnitz. From 1946 onwards he played for the first time in a big band , the Chemnitzer Orchester Karl Walter.
