Os Titãs were a portuguese rock band from the 1960's. Born on the seaside city of Matosinhos, they gained a lot of success among the youth during their time. Although they were Influenced by The Shadows, known as the best selling British instrumental group of all time, the band from Matosinhos also had some songs wich were sang in portuguese and also in english. Os Titãs were born during 1963 and were formed by Fernando Costa Pereira, João Lourival , Simões Carneiro and João Braga.
