Biography
Pallid formed in 2008, its sole member being Andrew Mayton on guitar, keyboard, analog manipulation, and later saxophone. Since then, the project has taken on several members, and thus more varied instrumentation–Edward Reilly on drum kit, electric and upright bass; Jonathan Rodman on electric bass, synthesizer, and MIDI controller; Vera Kiefer on saxophone and flute; Kaili Corkran and occasionally Vincent Seadler on vocals.
The band encompasses many genres including world folk, IDM, ambient/drone/noise, doom metal, jazz, post-rock, and powerviolence. The band is currently recording a split with the Sound of Rescue that includes the current live line-up.
Every set we play is different from the last, but the amount of love we put into them is always the same, and always delivered through a lens of contemplation and pure, unbridled emotion.
