Paul Kelly is an iconic Australian singer-songwriter, and collaborated with a group of gun musicians from the Australian country music scene to record the album Foggy Highway in Terrigal, Australia in 2005. The Stormwater Boys consisted of Ian Simpson (banjo), Trevor Warner (mandolin), Mick Albeck (violin), James Gillard (bass), and Rod McCormack (guitar).

The group brings an Australian tinge to traditional bluegrass, with the warmth and compassion of instrumental exuberance underscored by themes of struggle, loss, hardship, betrayal, and suffering.
