Pete Namlook (born 1960 as Peter Kuhlmann, died 2012) was an ambient & electronic music producer & composer. He founded the German record label FAX +49-69/450464 in 1992. He leaves an impressive body of work, with over 50 albums in his catalog.
Bill Laswell (born 1955 in Salem, Illinois) is an American bassist, producer & record label owner. Laswell ranks among the most prolific of musicians, being involved in hundreds of recordings with many musicians from all over the world. Laswell's music draws upon many different genres, most notably funk, various world music, jazz, dub and ambient styles. He has also played or produced music from the noisier, more aggressive end of the rock spectrum, like hardcore punk and metal.
