Biography
For more than ten years, Peter Berry & The Shake Set have stayed true to authentic, early 60s beat and instrumental music. However, with the release of the single “Play Along With Me / About To Leave”, it’s “goodbye for now” indefinitely from Norway’s leading beat band. The boys got their army call-up orders, grown-up life is beginning and the pop career is put on hold. The single contains two self-composed tunes, recorded at Toe Rag Studios during the band’s last visit to London, and it would be a shame if they weren’t available to the public. That is why the pop adventure ends for now, with two swinging melodies instead of a funeral march and a requiem.
