Pin-up was established in 2003 with an all-female line up by Aysegül Esen, Özlem Gündogmus, Ilgin Itir and Ezgi Özkan who were university students. In a few months, the band started to gig in most crowded pubs of Istanbul and had performance in some significant international festivals. Pin-up had nearly a hundred shows just out of their hometown Istanbul.
