Pina y Sus Estrellas was the first all-girl band from Argentina. Formed in the late 1960s, they played garage rock. The line-up from 1968 to 1973 was Mirta Diaz (vocals), Pina Vasile (keyboards), Cristina (percussion), Estela (guitar), Susana Lopez (bass). They released an eponymous album in 1969 and toured Latin America in the following years. Mirta Diaz left the band in 1973 to form Surama, after which there were various line-up changes.
