Thornton James ("Pookie") Hudson ( born Des Moines, Iowa 11 June 1934 - Capitol Heights, Maryland 16 January 2007) was an American doo-wop singer. Pookie Hudson was the lead singer of one of the finest doo-wop groups of the 1950s, the Spaniels.
