Celebrating Impending Chaos is the second album from UK black metal band Primitive Graven Image, and the band's first as a four piece. It was written and recorded at the bands own "Metal Farm" studios in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire in 2007 and 2008, and the final mix and master was done by Russ Russell at Parlour Sound in Northamptonshire in January 2009. Primitive Graven Image was formed in 2006 in Buckinghamshire, UK by guitarists and brothers Rob and Luke Lehane aka Ljosalfur and Dokkalfur, out of a love for the traditional black metal style. Immortal, Darkthrone and Emperor were the flavour of the day and a 6 track demo of spontaneous, infectious blackness was swiftly kicked into shape.
