Formed in 1997 in a bedroom in Southern California, this duo went from being a couple to being bandmates. Jerry (of Le Pepes) and Cindy (of Slow Vanilla) quit their bands to form Pumpkin Picasso. With an analog 4-track and a tattered notebook, the two made lo-fi pop anthems using a collection of instruments left behind in their studio and toy instruments they found in thrift stores.
