Rajna Spasovska & Orkestar Pece Atanasovski - Blaze tebe Šain dzvezdo
This album includes only small part of the huge repertoire of Rajna Spasovska. Whith her experience of over 50 years she has performed over 500 traditional Macedonian songs on different subjects (weeding, harvesting, epic, ritual songs, wheel…). On this album a selection of wheels, harvesting, love and ritual songs has been made. Some of these songs are recorded for the first time, making this rare material even more important. Rajna Spasovska has recorded this songs with the members of the orchestra "Pece Atanasovski". Whith their juvenile sensibility they brought this material to contemporary level and they are making space for macedonian traditional music in the contemporary music fields.
