The idea of this unique combination happened to be born at a gig performed by the accordionist Takehito Arai. He'd been playing himself in Hakata, Japan and on that special night on Novermber 2006, he thought of the idea of combining the sounds of his own accordion, the acoustic piano and the violin. Mixing elements of classical, poplular music and jazz with the players' own different musical backgrounds and interests, they are really creating and delivering endless joy which they call "spiral of fun" to the audience today.
