Rob Aston, musicly known as Skinhead Rob, is the vocalist/rapper of the California punk rock/hip hop band Transplants. He began his career in music as a roadie for AFI and Rancid. Aston eventually started a solo career, which stayed underground with his song "Show Me". Aston became involved in the Transplants when Tim Armstrong asked for lyrics to the songs Armstrong was making. The two started jamming in Armstrongs's basement whenever they found the time.
