Butler is referred to as "The Godfather of Bahamian Music" and his career spans more than five decades. Ronnie and The Ramblers performed nightly at the "Big Bamboo", in the 1950's, an underground club on Bay Street. From there, Butler went to work in "The Rum Keg Room" of the Nassau Beach Hotel.
