Biography
Ryno Velvet is a South African born singer, songwriter and guitarist born in Bellville, Cape Town.
Most commonly known for his contribution to indigenous South African rock music, Ryno Velvet is noted as a proverbial performer with a slightly unhinged style, familiar to audiences for playing a right handed guitar left handed and up side down.
Since 2006 Ryno Velvet released four studio albums: 'Karma' (2006), ''Harp' (2008), ''Bulletin' (2010) and ''Alfabet' (2014) whilst collaborating with producers and artists such as TeeJay Terblanché, Basson Launscher, Francois van Coke, Pierre Greef, Riku Lätti and Fred den Hartog. Most recently Jan Blohm.
