Shōgo Sakai (酒井省吾 Sakai Shōgo, born 1960) is a Japanese video game music composer, most recently employed by HAL Laboratory. Prior to that, he worked on several soundtracks for Data East in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Games he has composed for include Rampage, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland, Kirby Air Ride, MOTHER 3, and most recently, Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
