Shan Lee Cook is probably better known as "Shanny Boy". His sound is inspired mostly by 60s rock and 90s alternative and Brit-Pop bands. His writing style is based mostly in metaphors and analogies, believing straight-forward message songs come off as being too "preachy." His father bought him his first guitar for Christmas when he was barely old enough to walk.
