Shawn grew up in Ashland, Oregon where he began his musical journey playing the saxophone at age 11. During his time at Berklee College of Music in Boston, he began playing guitar and piano, and found a love of songwriting and a yearning to share his music and make a positive impact in the lives of others. After graduating with a degree in Music Therapy, Shawn moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, bringing music with meaning to people living with Alzheimer’s Disease.
