Biography
Bush Tapas is a new project created by Si Mullumby (Wild Marmalade) and Qarlitos Ku. A purely acoustic project melding percussive didgeridoo playing with flamenco guitar.
Their debut EP was recorded in Barcelona in 2012. It contains a selection of tasty tracks exploring the meeting and merging of these two instruments from opposite sides of the world.
The name Bush Tapas is a lighthearted play on the traditional foods from both countries. Bush comes from 'Bush Tucker' the native food to the Indigenous people of Australia, and Tapas is the well known Spanish food predominantly served in bars.
