The 2nd longest Siouxsie And The Banshees track ever recorded with 11 minutes. Only “The Lord’s Prayer” with 14 minutes from their 2nd album Join Hands is longer. According to Jon Wilde from the liner notes of the reissue, the song is “vaguely influenced by Lou Reed’s “Street Hassle”. Bassist and songwriter Steven Severin wanted the track to be 18 minutes long, filling the entire B-side of the album, but the idea was dropped. Lyrically, the song is featuring many mysterious, psychotic and mystic themes. The main topic seems to focus on rebirth.
