Sky Moose was formed in 2005 and consisted of two bored young men with creativity running over the brim. They recorded a short, humorous novelty album entitled "Fresh!" which was to be Sky Moose's equivalent of Pink Floyd's Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Sky Moose later evolved into a four-piece funk jazz and blues powerhouse. Owen Ross, on guitar and vocals, is the only remaining original member of Sky Moose.
