"This is one of my favorite times of the year, and Sky does an incredible job of conjuring up a myriad of emotions in myself. The opening track “Leave Me” with its haunting vocal stands as arguably the magnus opus of the album; what sounds to me like “haunted by fire” champions the record through its soft pads, and vinyl percussion. “Dark Room’, which opens with what sounds like a yangqin floating gently along, quickly turns into a personification of my own heart beat.
