Stanley Buetens (1931 - 2009) was an American musician known for his work with the lute. In addition to performing, Buetens taught lute, guitar, and voice. His books helped introduce many 20th century musicians to rarely-published early music and contributed to a revival of the lute. He also co-founded the Lute Society of America in 1966.
