The sax styles of Karl Denson (Grey Boy All-Stars) and Skerik provide great solos as well as a smooth blend when they play in unison. Chris Wood (Medeski, Martin, & Wood) provides the hard hitting rhythm along with Stanton. The album was recorded January 8-11, 2001 on Blue Thumb Records. Born and raised in New Orleans, Moore is very much a product of geography, culture and creative colleagues. He grew up in a thriving music scene that included Professor Longhair, Doctor John, the Meters and countless other Big Easy mainstays.
